Day 1 – Saturday, 24 December 2022

Arrival – Casablanca

Accommodation: Melliber Apart Hotel

Met at the exit of the airport, and be taken to your Casablanca hotel. Later in the day, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the third-largest mosque after Mecca and Medina.

Note: 1. We arrange an English-speaking driver for the entire trip. Whilst you tour at Fes and Marrakech, Odynovo will arrange private English-speaking guides on sites, and your driver will be in charge of driving you from site to site and city to city, of course, your driver is also able to give you general information on Morocco. At your request, we are also able to arrange a private tour guide throughout the entire Morocco trip with supplement.

Day 2 – Sunday, 25 December 2022

Casablanca – Marrakech

Today you will be escorted to Marrakech(around 3 hours drive). Upon arrival at the hotel, you are free at leisure on your own.

Day 3 – Monday, 26 December 2022

Marrakech

After breakfast, you will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and magical famous Jemaa el-Fnaa again. The tour will end with an exploration of the souk (market). The tour in Marrakesh is around 4 hours.

Day 5 – Wednesday, 28 December 2022

Marrakech – Ouarzazate

After breakfast in the hotel, you will take on an exploratory journey to discover some truly unique locations today. Enjoy a visit to Ait Ben Haddou – the UNESCO World Heritage Centre where movies such as Gladiator and Jesus of Nazareth were filmed. You will also visit the Village of Telouet today, located approximately 1 hour north of Ait Ben Haddou. Telouet hosts one of the area’s most recognized structures, the palace of the “Lord of the Atlas.” This palace was the residence of the once Vizier of Marrakech, back in the early 20th Century. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 6 – Thursday, 29 December 2022

Ouarzazate – Merzouga

After breakfast in the hotel, we will head to the entry to the Saharan dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enroute, visit Dades Gorge with a detour at Tinerhir famed with its beautiful palm grove, and Jewish quarter. When arrive at Erfoud, a 4×4 vehicle will be waiting for you at Erfoud to continue your adventure by heading towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the largest dunes in the Sahara desert. Go on a camel ride to witness the sunset from over the desert dunes and be astounded by the peace and calm as well as the changing colours of the landscape.

Day 7 – Friday, 30 December 2022

Erg Chebbi – Erfoud – Fez

Get up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast, you will depart for Fez (about 7 hours drive) and pass through the Middle Atlas Mountain range en route. This journey continues along through the dramatic Ziz Gorge, passing the ancient holy city of Rissani, where you will find the ruins of Sijilmasa, a once capital and merchant stopping locale for the ancient caravan routings of the 8th century.

Day 8 – Saturday, 31 December 2022

Fez

Accommodation: Hotel & Spa Riad Dar Bensouda

After breakfast you will begin your guided tour to the Fez Medina, a perfect introduction for your trip in Morocco. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, Chouara Tanneries, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. Continue your visit to the UNESCO site – University of Al Quaraouiyyne, the El-Attarine and Bou Inania Medersas.

Day 9 – Sunday, 1 January 2023

Fez – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, transfer to the Blue City – Chefcuaouen. Your afternoon tour here includes the Outa-el-Hammam square, the cobblestone medina and the Tarik-Ben-Ziad mosque whose octagonal minaret is inspired by that of the Torre de Oro in Seville. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 10 – Monday, 2 January 2023
