The biggest surprise and highlight of the the Morocco trip was glimpsing a white column in the distance as we approached Ouarzazate.

From wikipedia – Ouarzazate Solar Power Station, also called Noor Power Station is a solar power complex and auxiliary diesel fuel system located in the Drâa-Tafilalet region in Morocco, 10 kilometres from Ouarzazate town, in Ghessat rural council area.

This was not part of my trip and my advice for anyone travelling in this region to see whether you can get close to check it out.

It was very impressive.
